Why there is no exact digital SAT conversion chart
The digital SAT is section-adaptive: your second module in each section is harder or easier depending on how the first went, and final scores are equated question by question. Two students with the same number of correct answers can earn different scaled scores, because which questions they got right matters. College Board therefore publishes no raw-to-scaled table for official tests — every site showing an exact digital SAT conversion chart is inventing one. What College Board does publish is arange-based conversion for its paper practice tests, explicitly described as a simplified estimate. That official table is what powers the estimator above, which is why it gives you a range and not a false single number.

Each section's second module adapts to your first-module performance; Math allows a calculator throughout (Desmos is built in). Scores move in 10-point steps, and the total is simply the two section scores added — there's no penalty for wrong answers, so blank is never better than a guess. Note the paper practice tests used for estimation are longer (66 RW / 54 Math questions) than the adaptive exam, because the adaptive format needs fewer questions to pin down a score.
